Unlocking OSINT Tools: Learn How To Use The Command Line
Bellingcat and many other entities develop that require technical skills. To help users acquire these skills, Bellingcat has started a new video series on YouTube. They just dropped the first video in the series, which focuses on the command line.
Note from the OSINT Jobs Team: Understanding how to use the command line or GitHub adds a valuable skill to your profile. Even if you don't use it daily, you might need a script one day that could be extremely helpful. For these instances, knowing how to use these tools is beneficial. We also recommend exploring GitHub scripts for your work. If you find anything useful, forward it to the relevant teams handling infrastructure and tooling in your organisation.
You may also find this blog post useful, titled “GitHub for Crime Analysts”. We spotlighted it in Issue 112. Wheeler’s post is a great introduction to using GitHub effectively, with a focus on mastering command line techniques.
