Free Bookmark Tool to Highlight Keywords on Sites
Nico, aka Dutch OSINT Guy has developed a free tool to colour-highlight keywords on webpages. This enhances the traditional CTRL+F method as this bookmark is particularly useful for getting a quick overview of keyword occurrences in research, ensuring consistency in performance even when fatigue might cause you to miss details. Download and how-to instructions are provided.
Learn How To Scrape With Google Sheets
Justin Seitz, a renowned OSINT expert and the creator of Hunch.ly, has published a video demonstrating how to scrape SSL certificate information using Google Sheets. This method is useful for uncovering subdomains, identifying domains linked to a target, or detecting phishing domains misusing a brand.
Besides, the video introduces techniques that can be universally applied. Knowing how to use Google Sheets effectively can enhance your data analysis capabilities. This also applies to individuals who, instead of using Google Sheets, must use Microsoft Excel for OPSEC reasons, which has incorporated many beneficial features in recent years.
Justin has also resumed blogging and we recommend subscribing to his Substack, "Bullsh*t Hunting" for more insightful content.
